What do you think of the F40 #76879, sold new in Belgium in 1988, but which has the following particularities. (In my opinion this his car was the property of P Dieudonné, he has also a F40 LM). *Vetri scorrevoli *2 rear lights integrated into the grille Black near registration plates *No red lights integrated in the bottom of the rear bumper Here a link where Aardy gets some interresting post about this car. *76879* seems from the pictures to have the early characteristic very dark tint to the large glass front light covers.
Here is an element of the F40 that I didn't know. You can easily learn some details, thank you. Do you think it's a prototipo?
Image Unavailable, Please Login Have you ever seen a gearbox missing the stamping in that circular section? Trying to figure out why this unit doesn't have a stamping as shown here, for example: https://www.dkeng.co.uk/parts_images/1614556800/large_1616756554_img_6398.jpg
At first glance I thought it was a normal F40 and looking more closely you can hardly see the 5 openings. Yes, It s the F40 prototipo thread, but I don't know haw many cars.bluit in total? 9, 11,13?
The gentleman in the photo was at Ferrari for a visit, he went into the carpark and had his photo taken with the F40, only years later did he realise it was one of the prototypes, must be one of the last as it has the production type mirrors, but still using the 308 GTB door perspex surround.
Actually having zoomed in they are not production type mirrors but yet another variation with small triangular bases mounted into the corner of the quarterlight.
