Sport Series??? Seems they are following McLaren. Same with he f8 pricing and specs. I can't wait to see what Lambo comes up with after the Evo.
Our markets are different. But having said that in our state any car coming in after 1st July will have an addition 9% luxury tax added onto the already 33% luxury tax, stand duty , 10% GST etc etc. Pointing out that the On road costs only $3k difference. Here is another fact the 488 GTB was introduced at $50 k plus cheaper than the 458 it replaced in our market.
I was pointing out the yellowed section "some of these new vehicles will use a detuned version of the new electrified V8 " imaging a F8 VS with the ICE engine of the SF90 ?
Wow! If F8 VS has SF90's ICE, it would be selling like hot cakes! Hope Ferrari won't limit its production.
It's been mentioned around here as very likely (and I personnally believe it is, for what it's worth), but could be a little early to be confirmed considering the regular F8 have not started to be delivered (although most probably we're going to see shorter model runs from now on, as a way to attract customers) - and the Pista are still produced.
Yes I think it will come it is a matter of time. This should be easy to do as it will only be a modification, emission issues already addressed with GPF and more importantly it will help the bottom line which is the number one priority of any publicly trading company Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I have always assumed they will not do an F8 VS. Lots of new models being developed (all of which take time and resource) and F8 was always a stopgap until V6 "Little Brother" is ready. Probably completely wrong.Normally am !!!
NOT being rude, but try a quick search before starting new thread, thanks https://ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/f8-tributo-vs.601499/
Is sf90 v8 better than pista?? More of same or less with gfp was my understanding.. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
My dealer is very confident that there will be an F8 Speciale and the F8 run will be less than 3 years.
Depends what one is looking for - but although heavier I find it reasonable that a 1000hp car be considered superior to a 720hp car.
I am on the same page as you. And we will know a lot more soon as info will start to come through at Universo.
I would argue it's not in Ferrari's interest to disclose any information about the F8 VS before they even start deliveries of the regular F8. They need to release information (and cars) to keep people interested. Now they have announced the F8, will announce the F8 spider soon, then will deliver the first F8, then will deliver the first F8 spider, then will announce the F8 VS, then announce little brother...
We have two dinner events lined up at Universo - one with our dealer and one with our regional VP from Ferrari. I am sure after a few wines a few details will emerge
Please report everything here - I'll be racing in the South of France (not with ferrari obviously) at this time so will not be able to attend..
Sorry for the same thread, did not know that it’s still existing, thanks for putting it together with this one
An F8 VS with ice will be too heavy and likely have electrical gremlins. Won't sound that great either with a v6/gpf. I can't see the fascination.
What do you mean? ICE stands for internal combustion engine. If you mean an F8 as a hybrid? No. That's basically an SF90. The 488/F8 platform is not really hybrid ready. If they make an F8 VS, it will more than likely be based on the usual recipe. Bit more power, weight reduction etc. My dealer is quite adament about there not being an F8 VS. What he has been told from Maranello was that there was not enough time. He also hinted that Ferrari to an extent considers the F8 a VS of the 488, thus they won't make a VS of a VS.
Logic says there won’t be an F8 vs cause the f8 is a stop gap car. 3rd car on the same platform? (458, 488, f8). 5 mtg if you count Speciale and Pista. I too feel there won’t be a VS version of the F8. Besides, new emissions regulations are coming in 2021 so when does the vs of f8 get released? There hasn’t been a single f8 hitting the grounds and won’t for months. So the special version limited edition gets released before the regular version even hits? However- there are people who are adamant who say that f8 Speciale will come. Who knows? Ferrari does. They aren’t talking. Time will tell what happens.
