Any thoughts on the sanity of picking up a
Pista and driving back to the UK. Good or a bad idea.

Plus can I trust the PPF process in Italy

    You shouldn’t risk it.

You should enlist someone from the USA to fly over and drive it for you, as there are bound to be sections of the autobahn and alpine roads that will need to be traversed.

Naturally you’ll want to budget for travel expenses. I’d prefer an aisle seat in business class, please.

In all seriousness, you should totally drive it home. Talk about a cool road trip.

I’ll be there in a few weeks and would be happy to work the bugs out of it for you. That way you get complete peace of mind motoring once you get behind the wheel.

    You’re welcome!

Drive the heck out of it if you want a driver. Ship it if you want a garage queen. It depends on how much you love the car?

It’s a car isn’t it? Drive it!!! (Unless you bought it as an investment; in which case good luck...the rest of us will be driving our Ferrari’s :) )

Have a look in the UK section from about a year and a bit ago; mike collected his 488 and drove it back. ( haven’t seen him about for a bit actually)
