Hello, I understand that all 360's had these trackers fitted in the factory. As they are around 20 years old now, I was concerned about the backup battery condition. Has anyone changed the unit as I understand its sealed unit so you can't just replace the back up battery. I spoke with vodaphone and they said that if the unit does not have a subscription, its just dormant with zero battery drain from the cars main battery. Also anyone know if there was a single location where ferrari fitted these. Thanks
They where not factory fitted but dealer fitted. Most of these are now garbage with battery drain issues! These ancient NavTrak systems tend to have been installed behind the throttle pedal on the floorpan behind the black plastic cowel. Be careful not to break the plastic tab, it's very fragile! Actually quite accessible but pretty well hidden if you don't know where to look to rip them out.
I saw a ferrari 430 in a dealers workshop awaiting a new dashboard, the thief had ripped it apart trying to find the tracker. It had been laid up for a year then awaiting a new one
NavTrak was a UK company setup by some senior ex police officers, eventually it was sold to Vodafone cellphone carrier and after that it imho went downhill... So yes UK only Sent from my CPH2145 using Tapatalk
