If I don’t do the Colorado Grand (overlaps this event) I’ll bring some cars to Elkhart for sure.
At the 2018 FCA Annual Experience during one of the track days amatuers could take their car out for an hour during the lunch time break for the track participants. There was a orientation session in the classroom, and then every participant paired with an intstructor. We went out on the track with the assistance of an instructor. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have a 612 which I drive all over the country, so I don't feel comfortable racing it on normal track days. However, it was nice to excercise it on the track in a non-competitive environment with the benefit of an instructor. I tried to find some info on this and could only find this link - https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/instructor-recruitment-2018-fca-annual-meet-wgi.568969/
Let’s talk closer to September. Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve sent cars without being able to attend an event.
For those interested in volunteering at Elkhart Lake I will be posting who to contact information soon.
For those willing to raise their hand to be one of the volunteers at Elkhart Lake the contact is Scott Severson. Check the club's monthly News Bulletin or Prancing Horse for the listing of the clubs leadership for his contact information. I would highly recommend that anyone thinking they want to be part of the group organizing a future Annual Experience do this. It is will be a great learning experience when you get behind the curtain to see what is really going on to make an event successful.
Sorry, but FCA membership or with another club that is a part of SpA's World Council of Ferrari Owner Clubs is necessary to be an attendee. There will be a public display in Elkhart Lake on what should be Tuesday September 10. This will be on East or Lake Street around 5:00 or 5:30 pm.
