    To answer your question, I removed it from the top, but this was while the engine was out... I doubt you could remove it from the bottom as the frame cross-member and the sway bar are just in the way, maybe you could remove the front spoiler in order to clear the area, but that would still be quite a challenge.

    In order to remove the 400i radiator, you have to remove a bunch of ancillaries, so presumably even more with the 412 that has more accessories. Among other things, you have to separate the radiator from the AC condenser (which is bolted on the radiator).

    The bumper is off and I just had the condenser removed, but still seems impossible from the bottom.

    I wanted to give it a good clean, but seeing the amount of work involved I will have it done in situ. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    it's strange, you do seem to have a serpentine condenser, whereas I am positive my car came with a parrallel-flow condenser, even my brother's 365 condenser is parrallel flow (his condenser is on my workbench right now). No idea if this was the stock setup on the 412.

    These serpentine condenser are bullet-proof but far less efficient.
