Ferrari Club track days at VIR June 2-3

Thanks, but essentially only running my GT3 now; last track event for the spider was last Labor Day at VIR. VIR is my favorite track (although going up to the Glen for the first time in late June), but can't make those dates - too bad - that is assuming you would let me run with the Porsche.

Lot of events at SP for July and August.

What days ?

I'll be there Monday - Tuesday June 24 - 25 with PhoenixCMR Home

They are a great group with plenty of track time.

 

PCA Potomac at the Glen, Friday June 21 to Sunday June 23rd. Imagine 5 straight days at the track.

That's right, the Porsche guys are usually packing up as we get there Sunday for tech inspection.

What's two more days ? LOL

 

July 6 & 7 - Trak Daze? Good event, I instructed at it last year, first DE that I attended that required no signaling for passing. Unfortunately, I have a family commitment that weekend so not able to attend this year, but PCA Potomac is at SP for July 19-21.

 

Obviously concerned about any stories with this car.

 

This would be an amazing event! I had the chance to drive an Atom around VIR and it is one of the best tracks in the US.

Thanks to all those who came out to VIR on Monday and Tuesday!!
For those of you who missed it (and you know who you are... ;-) boy did you miss two great days of VIR mayhem! Amazing cars, fantastic people, and great company and food at the dinner.

While the paddock was a little thinner than we'd liked, what it meant was plenty of space and time for everyone on track. Needs to be said again: What a great event and fantastic group of people!!

Special Thanks go to Jim Meek and Tom W. for putting so much effort into the event that made it run extra smoothly. More special thanks go out to all my instructor crew!! April, Carter, Cassidy, Dan B. and Dan W., David, Karl, Norbert, Paul, and Robert ("Pup") for making it a safe, fast, fun event with LOTS of great learning from the participants!

The Maserati still wasn't completely up to snuff so they stayed and rented South Course on Wednesday to get that monster ready to fly over to Le Mans for the "Hour Before" race. Awesome car (only one of its kind in existence!) and I can still hear that exhaust note in my head. And I can't forget that BB LM or the 458C!! Much less... well EVERY other car there!!

Roland from the Empire State Region and his companions all related having a wonderful time and they are already planning to come back with us next time, and bring a lot of their friends! I say "Bring it!!"
