    Before many of the statements become a manufactured reality! Some ground facts should be considered.

    All endurance participants in GT class a derived from a production model made by a manufacturer. Thus built by that manufacturer,
    Kessler, Michelotto and other alike are tuners or in simple automotive language hot roder’s.

    Tuners take a manufactures car and modified them to meet series regulations and/or specs to uniform or fit a diverse field of different manufacturer cars and models to function within a box of ranges.

    Manufacturers road cars are modified by tuners / hot roders within a frame if regulations and series.

    In the case of Ferrari since its incursion into the endurance LeMans or GT Comp world starting with the 348GTC LM have been privateer teams some partialy assisted

    I ended up purchasing 18905 - one of eleven Michelotto group 4 cars built. An extensive restoration is in its immediate future and it’ll be returned to gruppo 4 specs as delivered from Padova for testing at Fiorano by René Arnoux in 1983.
