BMC Flat Panel Replacement Filter Ferrari 550 Maranello 96-01
BMC F1 air filters are original equipment for the Ferrari Formula 1 team and Ferrari GT race teams and Porsche Motorsports, Mercedes Benz F1 and GT race teams and AUDI motorsports team.

BMC has developed a particular production system based on soft rubber moulding which produces the familiar BMC red filters. They are made in one single piece with no welded joints in the corners, thus avoiding breaking risks.

    Size: 7.64" x 12.56" (194mm x 319mm)

doesnt make for an exciting picture... but gets the job done... :)

Sorry, but in Post #375, the ground clearance of the F40 is listed as 318 inches. That means the F40 (which is a total of 44.30 inches high) is sitting 12 1/2 inches off the ground. Knowing the F40 has a very low ground clearance, I say, Kudos for slipping that one by everyone else.

    The Pininfarina-designed, Scaglietti-built 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SPECS
300hp 3,286cc four overhead cam V-12, five-speed manual transmission, four-wheel upper and lower wishbone independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes and tubular steel frame. Wheelbase 2,400mm (94.5”)

    HISTORY
The 275 GTB/4 was unveiled at the Paris Salon in October 1966 and was the first production Ferrari to feature a quadruple camshaft V-12 power unit. Many consider the resulting car to be the finest production Ferrari ever built, combining the thoroughbred mechanical pedigree of its road racing forebears with sufficient creature comforts to make the 275 GTB/4 a superlative grand touring automobile.

The coachwork, carried over from the 275 GTB, was a stunning Pininfarina design that evoked the graceful lines of the legendary 250 GTO. A long hood combined with a fastback rear body to create a striking profile, while vents in the front fenders and sail panels gave the car a muscular edge, and recalled the Testa Rossa and Tour de France race cars. A smoothly integrated rear spoiler – clearly borrowed from the GTO – helped give the car a strong visual identity. Although they were cars of many firsts, they were also the last true coachbuilt road/race berlinettas in the great Ferrari tradition. Accordingly, many examples led a dual life, winning on road courses and hill climbs on the weekend, while providing stylish and exciting transportation during the week.

The 275 GTB/4’s new V-12 four-cam engine featured an all-new cylinder head design that carried twin overhead camshafts acting directly on the valves. A dry sump system, as used in the competition engines, was introduced in order to improve lubrication at prolonged high revs. An impressive set of six twin-choke Webers provided excellent breathing and the resulting power afforded drivers remarkable mid-range torque and flexibility. The engine, propeller shaft assembly and rear-mounted transaxle combined in a single subassembly mounted into the body shell at four points for increased rigidity.

The introduction of the United States federal regulations governing emissions and other specification requirements helped to shorten the production life of this model – the last car left the factory in the spring of 1968, one of only 331 built.

    Ferrari 360 GTC.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Ferrari 360 GTC is a race version of Ferrari's 360. With a dry weight of 1100 kg, it was developed by the Corse Clienti Department in Maranello, in collaboration with Michelotto Automobili to compete in the N-GT class. It makes use of recent evolutions successfully race tested on the Ferrari 360 GT, with a sequential six speed gearchange and a further improved Magneti Marelli electronics package. The aerodynamics are substantially different from the 360 GT, given that the 360 GTC has been newly homologated by FIA/ACO from the Challenge Stradale, taking up from its basic elements: front bumper, side skirts, engine cover and double rear end. Wind tunnel research has led to a new system for the rear wing, with a notable improvement in vertical downforce. The performance of the 90-degree V8 3586.2 cc engine has been improved in terms of consumption and power, putting out 445 horsepower (332 kW) at 8750 rpm.
