My information on 208 GT4 production numbers (as well as 208 GTB, 208 GTS, GTB, GTS, Turbo GTB and Turbo GTS) are limited. Can you provide any figures?

Window stickers only came with US models so you are not going to get costs for other markets.

    Hello! Great work!

Can anyone clarify this: 328 GTB and GTS chassis types are listed as F106AB/PB and F106AS/PB respectively. Are these for standard euro cars (except Switzerland for e.g. which ends with /R-C I believe)? I have also seen chassis type plates that end in /R instead of PB.
    Thanks!

Searching for some information on Ferrari Production figures, i was intrigued to come across this site and commend NNO, for all his hard work in compiling data on the various Ferrari Models.

As way back in 2005 / '06, i did something similar including the Road / Track Competition Models, but not F1, GP Models (But no real investigation of chassis numbers, RHD etc.), then using only the Internet / Classic Car Magazines for information, i was interested to read that the total production of the Ferrari 250 GT LWB "TdF" Berlinetta Models were 78 No:, produced between 1956 and 1959.

From my research i have a production total of 77 Models, one Model short.

Please NNO, (or anyone else) could you kindly clarify if my Internet researched production numbers listed below, are correct or incorrect and could you confirm that also in 1959, there were 7 No: Pinin Farina "Tour de France" Interim Models produced? Should my 1958 - 1959 line read Pinin Farina (7), Scaglietti (22), or are they additional Models 7+29?, or less the Zagato Models 72+7= 79, one extra!

    1956 - 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" (Series 1 - No Louvre) - Scaglietti (8), Zagato (2):- 8+2= 10
    '56-'57 - 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" (Series 2 - 14 Louvres) - Scaglietti (10), Zagato (2):- 10+2= 12
    '57-'58 - 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" (Series 3 - 3 Louvres) - Scaglietti (15)
    '58-'59 - 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" (Series 4 - 1 Louvre) - Scaglietti (29)
    1959 - 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" (Series 5 - 1 Louvre) - Scaglietti (10), Zagato (1):- 10+1= 11

    10+12+15+29+11= 77

1959 - 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" Interim - Pinin Farina (7)

Also for the Production Figures of Dino 206 GT's, produced between 1961 - 1969, did they include the one-off Dino 206 Competizione?, which Pininfarina introduced at the 1967 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The chassis type for the GTB is F106 AB/R-C, and the chassis type for the GTS is F106AS/PB. The Swiss chassis type for the GTS is F106AS/R-C.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough data to to show the varying chassis types that might exist for other markets.

Okay, first the Dino question: the production figures of the 206 GT listed in this thread did not include the one-off competition Dino.

    Moving on to TdFs...

From 1956 through 1959, 78 250 GT Long Wheelbase Berlinettas were built.

In 1956, the 250 GT LWB started with 0503 GT. They made 11 total that year, ending with 0607. All 11 built were bodied by Scaglietti.

In 1957, the first 250 GT LWB built was 0619 GT (later renumbered as 0805 GT). In 1957, 18 or 19 LWBs were built. I don't know which because 0793 has been identified as both a '57 and a '58.

Assuming 0793 was built in 1957, making a total of 19 LWBs for that year, then 1958's LWB production started with 0805 - which was restamped to be 0619. A total of 29 long wheelbase 250 GTs were made in 1958, the last of which was 1143 GT.

Then, in 1959, 17 LWBs were made, starting with 1141 GT and ending with 1523 GT. Of those 17 1959 250 GT Long Wheelbase Berlinettas, six were interims (1461 GT-1523 GT).

    I hope this helps.

The general rule of thumb is that roughly 30% of total Ferrari production is brought into the US. There is not yet a total for F430 production, though I'm certain it's higher than 360 production.

    Thanks for the reply NNO.

Searching for exact Ferrari Models is like stepping into a Minefield, as many Models are re-numbered, which leads to conflicting production totals.

The fact 0619GT was re-stamped 0805GT, i think answers my question as to how a total of 78 No: Models were produced.

I am going to study the Chassis Numbers in more detail, so i will have peace of mind, whether the final production total is 77 or 78 No:.

    Hi again NNO

Your thread taught me the importance of checking out Ferrari Model Chassis Numbers.

Below all the 77 "TdF' Models and 7 Interim Models.

As far as I know, 0619 GT was renumbered as 0805 GT, and 0805 GT was renumbered as 0619. So the two still exist, and therefore the count stands at 78. But beyond that, I'm way out of my league (hell, I'm out of my league on this topic already), so I relegate you to the appropriate forum: Vintage Ferrari Geniuses.

    Hi NNO

    Thanks for the Link provided.

I have listed 0619GT (Series 1) and 0805GT (Series 3) as two separate Models, thus my total remains at 77 No:

In the beginning of your thread you asked for any anomalies.

As i am in the process of re-constructing my timeline incorporating all the various chassis numbers of all the Models, to date i have noticed the following discrepancies as follows:-

    166 Sport - Production started in 1947.

    166 Inter - Production ended in 1951.

    195 Inter - Total production 27 No:

    212 Inter - Total production 79 No:

250 Europa - Total production 21. Last serial number 0353EU.

250 Europa GT - Production started in 1954. 35 No: Models produced. 28+7 GT Speciales.

    410 Superamerica (Series 1) - Production started in 1955. 16 No: produced.

250 GT Boano - 76 No: or 74 No: produced. Pinin Farina (Pre Boano) produced the first 8 No: Models:- 0429GT, 0431GT, 0433GT, 0435GT, 0441GT, 0443GT, 0445GT and 0447GT. Not having enough capacity at that time to produce all the Models, production was handed over to Boano. Two chassis' numbers 0437GT and 0439GT fall within the 8 No: Pinin Farina Models, but there is no history on them and they are not Pinin Farina Models, thus production of Boano Models is 76 No: if 0437GT and 0439GT is included, or 74 if left out.

250 GT LWB "Tour de France" - 77 No: produced. Chassis numbers in previous thread.

410 Superamerica (Series 2) - Production started 1956. 5 No: produced. I think your 6 No: erroneously includes the 410 Superfast Coupe Speciale (0483SA), a Model on its own on the 410 "Superamerica" chassis.

250 GT Pinin Farina Coupe - 351 produced. I think your total of 359 includes the 8 No: pre Boano Pinin Farina Coupes.

250 GT Pinin Farina Cabriolet - 204 No: produced.

This should be amended because I don't believe 103820 to be a prototype, but rather a post-production example.

Thank you very much. Is it possible that you can break, or add some punctuation ...? Currently, the way that you copy and paste is a bit dark and I'm not sure what I've read.

I didn't see this thread until now. Many thanks for starting it!

I don't see the Fiorano version of the F355 but then again, it wasn't really a specific model. Anyway, great stuff.
