Saw two Red F430 Spyder's, a Maserati Coupe , Dodge Viper RT10, and a 1966 Mustang GT Coupe. Actually the cars where on a Horseless Carraige Truck headed to Greensboro to drop off the 2 F430's and the Maserati off at FCI in the morning. Beautiful !!!

    Matt,

Where at on Old Apex was this? I live off of Old Apex.

I was at the opening for Ess. Lounge in downtown Raleigh last night and out front there was a 996 GT3, Bentley Continental GT, S600, SL500, 645Ci, and plenty of equally nice, more common cars and SUVs.

    Eric,

The 550 (may have actually been a 575) was making a left onto Laura Duncan Rd from Old Apex Rd today, and last week was between Cary Parkway and Marynard on Old Apex Rd. There was a couple in the car today and we waved as we passed. I was in my 355. I hope I meet up with this guy, would love to check the car out.

If the guy driving is mid 40s with medium brown hair and it is in fact a 550 with tan interior, I've met him before. I told him about FChat, but he hasn't shown up here. It would be nice to have a 550 on the board from our neck of the woods.

Yellow 355 spyder eastbound on S Church St in Burlington near Alamance Rd around 1PM today. VERY unusual for Burlington, even tough per capita Ferrari population is one of the highest in NC. Also saw a red TR a couple weeks ago. And a Lamborghini in front of the county courthouse in Graham last month (assume the owner was enriching Alamance county's coffers for being overzealous on I-85/40) at one time.

    First post here...

Yesterday, Saturday April 29 I had the pleasure of an awe inspiring sighting.

US-521 south of I-485 in Charlotte, spotted Black Lamborghini Gallardo, Yellow C6 Z06, Dark Red Aston Martin DB9 Volante, and Rosso Corsa Red Ferrari 430 headed south toward South Carolina.

This was an awe inspiring sighting as it was my first time seeing a 430 in person. I was with my girlfriend, went to lunch at City Tavern in Stonecrest and on our way back to Waxhaw, turning onto New Town Rd. from Marvin School Rd. I spotted the group again.

Lambo was leading followed by Aston and Vette. Ferrari was the 4th in line and I believe there may have been another car or two behind but I was so taken aback by the 430 that I could hardly pay attention to anything else. Girlfriend became rather agitated says, "This is the most emotion I've seen from you in months..." I muttered under my breath..."You just don't understand"

Anyone know whose cars these are and if possibly the Ferrari owner is an FChat member. I would love to see more close up pics of the car.

My (incomplete) Lambo-database lists two black Gs in NC. One usually resides in NYC. Does anyone have more info on the G?
    Thanks.

I saw those car's as well. They where a gorgeous bunch. I saw them around 9:30-10AM. Turning off of 521 onto Balentine I beleive, the Ferrari 430 wasn't with them, he was a stoplight or so behind.

Saw a red 430 tonight on 521 as well, in company with a black 612. I heard some rubber being left when they pulled out of the light, although it was probably left by the supercharged German car's behind them. Was defiantely impressive to hear a Ferrari V12 and V8 taking off at the same time.

The cars sighted in Ballantyne over the weekend were part of the Player Club driving event (you pay $800 & drive the cars).
    Cars in attendance:
    F430
    Z06
    DB9
    Gallardo
    612
    Continental GT and a Phantom
There was a Ford GT originally scheduled, but was wrecked prior to transport by a Players employee.
The event looked like fun and I would love to hear from someone who actually drove (I hung out on the sidelines and talked with the crew)
There also seemed to be a strange (for Charlotte) amount of 360s on the road over the weekend. Good for us as Charlotte rarely sees exotics rarer than a SL55
