Bonomi was 3rd in class (Class Sport International > 1100 cmc) timed at 27:43,90. As a comparison, the time of Scotti was 25:28:10 (80,458 kmh) and that of Stagnoli was 26:30:40. Reference: 1953 - CAMEVA
Henry Bartecchi, reputedly a US Army officer based in Camp Darby raced 166 Inter 007S in 1953-54 and probably then exported the car to US.

In 1952 007S was raced by Pietro Barbetti. For captain Bartecchi, I know of one more hill climb later in 1953 (which we will encounter in September) but probably there are more.
Captain Henry A. Bartecchi raced 007 S in July 1953 at Montenero and then on the 20th September 1953 at the Castellaccio hilcllimb. Marcel Massini
Too difficult, but I'll put the ball rolling anyway: Bordeaux 4.5.52 with Farnaud and Pagnibon, maybe.
I rather think the race was in Italy but don’t know where. Could it be Aosta San Grand Bernardo in 1951 ?
Marcel, are you sure about Montenero? It seems that in 1953 that race was held for 2 classes of sports cars (up to 1100 cc and up to 750 cc)? 007 S was of course eligible for neither of these classes. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Spot on. Bartecchi believed to have entered a race at "Montaroso" or something like that, and somebody then changed that to Montenero as no race arranged in Monte Mumbojumbo could be found.
