Just hit "reply" on every post you want to quote. Furthermore, you can highlight a specific sentence and a "reply" button pops up for the highlighted section. Very useful

No, this is not an option for the old style, however you may be able to narrow your browser window below 1100px and the posts will reshape and become wider.

Developers said this is not a functionality of xenforo forum software, which is surprising and unfortunate. It is on our list for future changes.

On the menu table (Bold, Underline, etc, etc)

1. Is it possible to put a "quotes" icon and wrap an article in quotes with like a red or bluish background maybe?

2. Why is it under the avatar's name, everything is bunched up like "F1 World Champ" and the date of inception. At least it appears like this on my computer.

I realize you have a ton on your plate and at first did not like this new FChat.....more and more its growing on me.

 

Not sure, but the being able to edit/delete old posts is probably a temporary thing. It tends to potentially totally screw up the integrity of a dialogue on a thread.

 

Can you attach a screenshot? We have tried to make user info more compact to save space for actual post content

Are you talking about quoting an article from another website in your post? I think we should be able to add this, as I have seen it on other xenforo boards. For now just use bb code formating [ QUOTE = article website ]... /quote

 

here's two screen shots, top of page and mid page where I assume an ad would normally be due to the odd spacing. No ad blocker running. Iphone7s vertical the post header is a mess. Horizontaal is fine.

 

@Booker is it possible to see the problem with my user name, which has something to do with "ü"?

Here are the mobile screen shots, navigating and waiting for page loads on mobile is brutal... Responsive time is like the old 28k baud Netscape dial up... Was faster the other day.

 

If you gentleman would review the bug this, you would both see these are being addressed

Forgive me if I'm reporting a known issue I did read the list. Are the thread title tags in the known issues list referring to this use case example?

In Texas section, there are several spotters threads that were only named differently by a location tag like DFW or East Texas or Austin or Houston. Those tags are not apparent on new software.

Yes until a few hours ago there was no time limit to edit or delete.

I got rid of as many "posting while drunk" entries that I could until the hammer came down! LOL

This issue may fall under #25 from the bug list "thread title tags didn't come over."

For the classifieds, "For Sale" "Wanted" etc no longer shows. Same goes for 360/430 section that used to have the prefix of 360, 430 or both.

Also, #9 from "Resolved"

This makes the mobile version rather useless - another reason to have an option in settings to disable mobile view.

 

Unfortunately there is no way to disable mobile view with the new software. Technically there is no mobile view at all, as the new site (and most modern sites) utilize "responsive design" which changes page layout based on screen/browser dimensions. If you want the lastest thread to show up, just turn your phone sideways

 

Check bug list, Tapatalk is not working and will not be working for at least a couple weeks.
