Not a huge thing, but I've noticed that when I select an alert to a thread I'm watching it goes to the first new post for about 2 seconds then moves up about 2 or 3 older posts (so I have to scroll down to get back to the first new post). This used to work correctly.
Seems like the alerts function in the FChat app (Android) doesn't work on my phone. Since around 2 weeks it doesn't show the latest changes in subscribed forums, but the status as of 25 March, so if I want to read the latest posts, I have to go to each forum separately. I already reinstalled the app a few times. Any advice...?
the mobile app was down before, I have seen a few reports of the alerts not working since. we will look into it. thanks.
we use to, but the backend was Tapatalk and we're not keeping Tapatalk updated, so it was pulled from store. Current software works better on mobile browser than app.
Nah. For me, not even close. Another forum I'm on has an optional skin optimised for mobile that works well. Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
For me, I’m still using the old style and like it a lot, so much simpler and easier to use. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And here - I cannot even be bothered to access the site unless I first change the skin. May be just habit not sure, but the new skin looks way too busy, and the old one is fast, simple and very responsive. No need to change it for me.
What’s with the “highlighter” effect on certain thread titles? Is this something new or did I inadvertently turn on a feature I didn’t know about?
I’m not sure I can do that on an iPad. It’s a transparent yellow stripe across a whole line of characters. That’s why I described it as a highlighter effect. It only appears on the home page of a forum, typically affecting the first four or five threads under the pinned threads, and it seems to be intermittent.
mine doesn't do it desktop, only thing that happens mouse over is page links show up. there are no mouse over effects for mobile, it is just click only. sounds like your iPad mobile effect has a way to bring up a cursor?
