    Gentlemen.

Saturday 5th June. A cavalcade of at least ten Ferraristii within their Dream Machines blagging down the A303 toward Thruxton. The lead car was registered Ray 512. The following car was a red 550 Maranello with the number 123 GO. Unfortunately, I was not able to obtain the numbers from the rest of the caravan - excepting what I believe to be a 512TR registered 2 COY. I understand that in all probability, this is within the custodianship of '512 Girl' and of whom, came past me only two weeks ago at a high three figure speed on the A31 dual carriageway. Where is the '512 Girl' these days? She seems to have become rather coy of late - in fact too coy, for my liking. Has anyone else seen her recently? Are there any other Ferrari Girls out there willing to take out a 68 years old non Ferrari owner?

wow saw today in Guildford town centre one of the seven factory rhd daytona spyders. ( i know it is factory original because it is stored in a garage-showroom near me) i have seen the car before static many times, but this is the first time in 16 years that i have actually seen it being used on the road, still in shock, that cars asking price in the late 80s was 2 million quid and this guys driving it around, dont get me wrong i respect that, but is this the right time to go driving it about what with all those england beflaged builders vans around watching the girls in their summer clothes, sorry getting side tracked!

Enzo spotted on my way home from the Louis Vitton Classic on Saturday. Rico has pictures on Pistonheads.

Looks amazing coming towards you from a distance. Scalpel sharp and with soooooo much road presence.

Couple of notables while I was out on my bike earlier.

Back of a red 328 heading to Hemel Hempstead.

And I was overtaken by a DB5 on a B road near Bedmond, very nice.

I was waiting for that :) Yes, I was happily trundling along (so unfit) when the sound of a classic AM engine came wafting along.

If I'd been on a powered bike I'd have given chase and got the plate :(.

In front of the currently hot eaterie Cippriani (cf. Harry's Bar in Venice) in Mayfair, this impeccably maintained Daytona, replacing the previous occupant of the bay, a midnight blue 456.

Standing by the parking meter was the car's chauffeur, presumably not its owner since the chauffeur was impeccably and correctly attired in grey suit and white shirt. The owner was probably eating in Cippriani.

Just down the road, a hundred yards away, is Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in Claridge's hotel. Ramsay's 550 (?) is often parked on a meter outside, usually gathering parking tickets.

I believe this is the car that was originally owned by Duncan Hamilton, then John Bonham (late drummer of Led Zep), back to Duncan Hamiltons (the dealers then in Bagshot, Surrey) then at sometime to Bramley (pretty sure this is correct, unless there are in fact two completely identical cars in the area!!) - been at Bramely's a long, long time though and the owner (who's name escapes me at the moment) does like to take it out occassionally. I think the high price tags over the years indicates a lack of willingness to part with it. I first saw it when it was at Duncan Hamilton's sometime in the mid eighties, when they had a garage in the centre of Bagshot.
