my sunday just went to heck, and I can not attend...
Many parts of Sheridan Rd are under construction... very uneven pavement and large dips. I would try to avoid Sheridan Rd. I think its OK north of Lake Cook Rd. Is the home open to the general public for viewing today or it this just a FOC event?
There is a strech on Waukegan for about 150 ft but that's only because it was recently repaved. It's a jungle out there!
Really enjoyed this event today. Great weather too!! Thanks Dave and Andreas for putting it together! Dankeschoen, ich sag dankeschoen. Great picture there of the DVD, you picked the perfect moment. Also noticed the B/W from the movie shoot, that's an interesting picture. Thanks everybody for coming. Was a pretty decent turnout with lots of Ferraris. We had over a dozen Ferraris and a one of kind Chrysler showcar designed by Ghia.
This was a great event. Thanks to whomever organized it. And thanks to Gerry for a scenic and twisty route. As Cameron said, "No Ferris. Apparently you don't understand. He doesn;t drive it. He just wipes it with a diaper." After watching Gerry navigate the road to the garage, now I know why Cameron's dad doesn't drive it. Now, where are those pics of our parking 'tickets'? I'm almost done with all my pictures, but I thought I'd share this one with you. Nasty rust but the shot came out nice Image Unavailable, Please Login
This event turned out well with a great turnout. A special thanks to Meladee Hughes and Diane Redding of Sudler Sotherby's International Realty for offering the FCA & FOC the first showing prior to listing the property. The listing will go live tomorrow on their web site www.sudlersothebysrealty.com Hopefully some lucky Tifosi will make the purchase. It is so choice.. Actually, Andreas is saying 'Thank You'. Those online translators can get you into trouble so watch it!!
True that! Just ask my Spanish teacher. : I'm only kidding. That only happened once I'm just about done, gimme 10 more minutes.

Interesting how my car wound up in those pictures. I was not going to the event and had no idea where, in fact, it even was. A friend of mine and I were just driving aimlessly around Highland Park and we happened to turn down that street. Go figure.
Second that, it was a great event. The house and pavilion were amazing, fun to see them up close. I also wanted to thank Andreas and Dave for asking me to park my car in the pavilion, how fun is that! Now if I only have a spare couple of million.................
I wasn't sure how the various models fitted in, were one of them a Ferrari person, did they crash the party or just wanted to take pics of the models with the cars?
