FF stereo (pre set stations)

so you wld think over 32k miles id know off the top of my head. i usually stream my itunes libraries or spotify. if you keep pressing the preset button it scrolls through the artist, song title, etc which is kind of nice and discovered that after 6 years. im not sure if the steering wheel buttons can scroll through presets or not. id have to try it tonight.

 

yeh im pretty sure thats the way it is....when i have satellite on it goes station by station - i need to click the presets on the screen. have never been able to figure out how to scroll through presets. same for stereo.

 

Send the car to AI in tuckahoe and have them replace speakers and head unit with top of line pioneer- and then u will havr zero complaints

ive done the speaker pieces so far and havent gotten around to head unit but it apparently makes a HUGE difference and they can get front camera to work if ur car didnt come with a from camera

 

ok so in the end i did this:
JL Audio FiX82 OEM Integration DSP Processor

JL Audio XD800/8v2 amplifier:
- 2 channels to tweeters in doors
- 4 channels bridged to 2 channels for midrange/woofers in doors
- 2 channels bridged to 1 channel for OEM subwoofer


Dynaudio System 242 Two-Way Set: includes 2 each MD102, MW162, and X 252
- component speaker set
- 162mm woofer
- 102mm tweeter

Dynaudio X252 2-way crossover:
- additional set on top of the set which comes with the System
- to be used on tweeters, solely, in order to bi-amp the component set so we can gain tweeter & mids independently + add additional power to midrange.

Pioneer AVIC-W8500NEX multimedia player
1 PARTS Sirius SXV300 receiver
1 PARTS Steering wheel controls interface - imported from Italy
1 PARTS Forward camera
Trigger/Timer Module: Allows for video & nav-in-motion

front camera works great!

Where did you get all this from? Can you just change the head unit without the speakers and Amps?

What about just head unit?
Im getting mine back in a couple weeks. I listened to u and never did steering wheel conversions whilst in shop I put the x pipe and the remote but this could be a cool upgrade although I don’t drive nearly as much as u the car!

At 1900$ it's almost the price of a nice dSLR!

 

Car came with a rear oem. Not sure what they used for front. You def dont want to see the invoice.

 

Your front camera price was not bad, 150$, but that was just parts

I have front camera already. I just want a more updated head unit with Android CarPlay. I also want it to be connected to steering wheel controls. No need for navigation. I will use Waze.
Which Pioneer do you suggest
