Dont forget the RedBull Whining Spice about the power modes - and - IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON - that was CHANGED LOL -- ***This weekend's Italian Grand Prix is the first race where teams have been banned from changing engine settings during qualifying and the race, requiring them to run a single mode throughout the sessions. It was seen as a move to try and rein in the dominant Mercedes cars*** Sep 5, 2020 Hey HORNER SHUT UP LOL> OMG MID SEASON CHANGES SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN LOL - RIGHT MAX?????????????????????????????????
The rules were constructed imo in a very precise way by the technical team at the FIA, remember Brawn and Co are highly experienced engineers and they knew precisely the limiting (aero) factors with ground effect cars and suspension systems. The technical rules were designed in such a way to create close racing, which has failed. Its not as if they hadnt encountered this phenomenon before, to counteract the porpoising in the GE era teams had to raise ride heights or run near solid suspension systems. So by my reasoning the FIA will never allow a change in the rules, if a team/s can develop a way of limiting the effects of stall then so be it. I was amzed at Allison's recent statement that they never considered it to be a problem, they had all the data from Formula E to compare notes!!!! Best Tony
Buddy. Remember the exhaust blown diffuser? Banned mid season Remember Ferrari's engine (that was never proven to have done anything wrong)? Immediate extra sensors thrown on multiple times. Without question. Yet a question regarding Mercedes engine wasn't even entertained in 2021. Remember the legal flexi wings? Banned mid season. Stop acting as if RBR is the ONLY team asking for a budget increase. Ferrari and Mercedes want it as well, badly. Stop acting as if RBR not wanting a mid season rule change is a BAD thing. Ferrari, Mclaren and Toro Rosso so far have spoken out against it. Add alpine and Aston Martin to the teams to those that have questioned the timing of the 2nd floor stay of Mercedes as well.
REDBULL SAID WE SHOULD NOT CHANGE RULES MID SEASON - They were more than happy to in the past including its driver Max. Sorry FACT. The cost cap is a joke. It should be raised = separate issue. RedBull have no room to talk about changes in tech rules mid season at all. They have bee MORE than happy to see such in the past. Now its an issue LOL. SHUT UP Horner and Max.
F1-Regeln: Teams mit Lobbyarbeit bei FIA-Präsident | AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT (auto-motor-und-sport.de) I've never read anything more ridiculous in my life. They spend too much money trying to win a title rather than...solve a problem THEY DON'T HAVE?!
They simply discovered their concept isn’t enough competitive. 2023 is too close now for a radical change so in order to be competitive next year the only chance they have is a substantial rule change. Usually impossible so late in a season but not for Mercedes with the fallacious safety excuse.
Yup. Merc said earlier on that they couldn't raise their ride height anymore than it is (despite the actual floor touching the track, lol). Add some washers and presto, ride height goes up!
If that train wreck of a team Ferrari. Loses p2t to that skank ass merc team they should never ever show their faces in public again. What a disgrace that would be.
Let us postulate that you want to pay $0.00 in taxes per year. *.gov want you to pay 30% or you go to jail You accept the compromise and pay to avoid going to jail. Are you or are you not the loser in this compromise ?
In my country paying taxes is not an option, it's an obligation; there is no compromise there ! What the FIA seems to have decided in this present case, is to come half way between what each party wants. Red Bull wanted status quo, Mercedes asked for a rise of 25 mm; the FIA said 15 mm. No side is fully satisfied, but no one is fully damaged by the decision: that's what a compromise means.
