Very nice euro car. Hope you get everything resolved. Dave did you ever have a chance to drive and take a closer look at the Algar car?

It'll be up for a couple of days at most.

Car is nice, doesn't have the power my car has, but it doesn't have a fresh motor like mine either.

Gear box and clutch had asome work, but 4th gear is a little balky, even when warm. Probably needed synchros, but owner only wanted 2nd repaired and a new clutch. Cut corners to save 'cause he was selling it.

Makes you wonder what else it might need when a PPI is done.

 

Sorry to divert the thread, thank, that was my concern cutting corners at the wrong time, sheesh what a dope, very shortsited. Some poor bastard will have to spend money on the tranny again. Man I would hit him hard on an offer to wake him up.
