    May I suggest clear coating your suspension components. I can't tell you how far that goes in protecting and preserving the plated finish.

    All it takes is a rattle can of Krylon or Rustoleum satin clear.

    Ideally should have been done before assembly. I did that to my Alfa 1750 cam cover after polish, works a treat yes.

    I’m afraid it probably is, it will be stored in a dehumidified garage as I really have no excuse to drive it. Ideally I should part with it but the Classic F market is so low at the moment!
