Anyone know how to find who is a registered Ferrari owner (in this case in New York and NJ)? I am sure this service exists, but I can't find it. Thanks
One way would be to use the FOC membership roster. They list it by state as well as by name... This is the only way to get it - due to the DMV list is not public info.
I can tell you what worked in Florida.... Our local car club contacted the DMV and was allowed to have them do a search for us for particular names of cars or VIN prefixes. The cost was about $0.50 per found vehicle. We ended up with about 200 vehicles found in just our county(Not Ferraris!). Not on the list would be anyone who asked to not have their DMV information distributed. We were looking for potential members for our club. Maybe your state has the same thing??
Anyone else besides me creeped out by the notion of the DMV releasing this info? Too many evil reasons this shld not be public domain.
a couple of years ago I had a friend (for his repair shop) that called a list broker for people in his area that owned porsches, well he got year, make , mileage, when bought, who finacned through, and vin if I recall its amazing how much information you can get for 7 cents a name. john
FNA keeps an updated list for the Rossa Ferrari subscriptions. I doubt they'd share it, unless assured of your motives!
Yes, it creeps me out as well. Precisely why I've never had a car in my name. That is what companies are for. My guess is that if you search you will find more Ferraris than you thought are actually owned by corporations rather than individuals. Paper ownership of any possession is overrated. Control of the possession is everything.
