Anyone have a recommendation on where to get one's car fire extinguisher recharged in Atlanta?
Racer car system bottle or one of the ones you mount near the seat
The one from the factory that is mounted in the passenger footwell.
I sent a message out to my fire extinguisher guy Jeff hes a 348 owner said he would check but would need to know what type halon or dry. Said he would contact on Fchat
It says 2 kg ABC powder.
Not sure what side of ATL you are on. There is a place near me, up north in Bartow County. I think they primarily recharge the larger bottles, like the ones that hang on the wall at a store / restaurant, etc, but they may also do the smaller bottles. Family owned company, and in business for a long time.
No affiliation, but I see their service vehicles out and about frequently.
H & R Fire Safety
Thanks, I'll check them out.
I wasn't sure if a car fire extinguisher needed special service compared to a general use extinguisher?
ABC is "normal", but I don't know either. If you call them though, and they can't do it, I'm sure they probably know another company that can.
I just worry a place would not have experience with the type of extinguishers Ferrari was using but say they can do it and then mess the extinguisher up in some way.
Eric C is having issues finding this very same thing.
Very useful. Thank you.
