    Hello all,

A friend of mine is about to race a 360 challenge on Zandvoort and he was wondering what the differences are with normal streetcars on handeling, power etc.

He's a good karter, and has driven several Merc's before, but a 360 challenge is a bit different.
Do you have any tips or tricks to keep in mind when driving a 360c ?

    Everything is welcome :)

    Thanks in advance,

    Power: essentially unchanged.
Handling: Racing slicks have 40% more grip than street tires
    Tricks: Don't hit anything.

I guess on a track there is less risk of a sudden bump that disrupts your downforce and gets your airborne or off the street.

LOL, nice. A good tip to follow with many other types of racing too I bet. Aren't many of the competitive Challenge cars now using the F1 system, or do all the cars use it? And do they have a series for old 348 and 355 Challenge cars? Sharky, I wish your friend luck, I'm sure he'll have fun. :)

Watch out Zandvoort can get very slippery.
Especiallty into turn one (banked hairpin).

Zandvoort is basicly built on a sand dune on the beach
so the wind blows sand across the track all the time.
Although they do a good job trying to keep it clean, it's never enough.
I love it. It's one of my favorites tracks
    I took a 360 Chellenge round there in 2001.
Sorry but I dont have any data as it was only a track day.
