Since I managed to successfully hijack and butcher my own thread, I'll start anew with just the basics: Meeting time is Saturady, 10am at Burnham harbor (between Mc Cormick place and Soldier field, opposite Meigs field). Current lineup: 308 Dan 308 Frank 308 Dave Mondial Fred 355 Carla 360CS Mike E. V8 Rick V8 Andreas Biturbo Chuck Gallardo Richard H2 Rocketboy Quattro Dan 996 Sid As far as the maintenance award goes: Purchasing a vehicle doesn't qualify, but everything else does. Including buying add-ons like wheels, tubis, hides, you name it. Massive engine work definitely qualifies, that's really the idea behind it so people who just went through the painful experience of doing a 30K get a little pat on the back.
Kewl, we can talk 0846. Current lineup: 308 Dan 308 Frank 308 Dave Mondial Fred 355 Carla 360CS Mike E. Sorry ladies and gents. I am bailing on Sat's cruise. Was looking forward to it but at the last minute "1 hr ago", wife and I are going up to friend's summer lake house "8000 sq ft" on Green Lake Wisc. with friend's for weekend to boat, golf and just CHILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!. It is great now that both kids are away at college and can get away without having to deal with them. That extra dry Grey Goose martini is going to taste so good! Have a great drive. See you all soon. Dan (308)

Like Farmer I too am sorry that family obligations will not allow me to attend. Some folks in from the wedding want to have a look at the new home before they leave. That and in the afternoon another painter and some more furniture arrives. I hope everyone has fun and does not get bogged down in all the happenings in the city. RocketBoy

I may be there depending on how late I work and if I can wake up. Anybody got a cel phone# I can get in case I'm running late so I can catch up?
Well Andreas I have to hand it to you again. You set up a great little outing. Weather was fantastic, great tunrout and great food, What more could we ask for.
Thanks Rick and thanks for lunch, that was very kind of you! Also thanks to all the participants. YOU make it happen with your great cars. And if I wasn't a die hard Tifoso already, that Gallardo could turn me into a Lambofan, that sound is out of this world! Speaking of great sound: Thanks Mike for bringing the Stradale along. The whail of that engine reverberating off the concrete walls of Lower Wacker Drive will be engrained in my memory. Maintenance awards went to 1) Dave for his BBi overhaul, 2) Tony to have the cracked head on his 355 fixed and 3) to my 308 30k service. As I said an award that comes with a sting. Here some of the pics from the event. I tried to capture all the cars, but somehow we lost the Porsche and the Vette, sorry.
