FOM broadcast audio/video quality

    the FOM feed provided to the various broadcasters really sucks. Not only does the video suffer from dropped frames and black frames the location of the mics for engine sounds are aweful. Even the in car stuff is weak.

    It is very hard to discern the engine notes between cars on the Race day feed.

    This mpeg shows Ferrari and others testing @ Silverstone. It has better audio and video than the FOM race day feed and you can really hear the engine and exhaust note differences. Its a step in the right direction. Of course what I really want is F1 in HDTV

    We need to petition FOM to improve their whole broadcast package...
