When I say brand new, I do mean a car that was never titled before, and from an authorized dealer. I hope that is what respondents understood......
How can you then pay above MSRP from an authorized dealer for a car that has not been titled before?
MSRP = Manufacturer's SUGGESTED Retail Price
Yea, that's a tricky one. Theoretically, if someone bails on picking up their car, you would be buying it from them (via the dealer) at market value. Seems like it should be titled first before the dealer can sell above MSRP, but that's a fine line (or little white lie to FNA?). However, being the first titler of a 360 in the situation is worth something so the guy buying it might not ask too many questions about exactly who he is buying it from as long as the price is right and he gets first title...
Dealers are not supposed to / alowed to sell above list for new cars - untitled. So suggested doesnt mean SUGGESTED in Ferrariland..
You forgot the option, : I'm stupid and paid over MSRP for a production car that is depreciating by the second !
