Really hope Vasseur will put Charles as driver number one.
    Even not officially.
Ferrari can’t afford a year like this again.
    Something is worrying me.
Perhaps Binotto announced to Elkann and co that next year we won’t be competitive because of the 15mm floor rules and this is why he lost the job ..

Had a great weekend at my son's wedding, and managed to watch the race yesterday read this entire thread today. Somehow Brazil ends up with some fun races, even if the passing into turn 1 and 4 tends to be DRS.

Thanks for explaining the unlapping-safety-car situation above, I was really confused by that in the race and I don't think the announcers knew the answer (automated system) so that needs to be changed.

Congrats to K-Mag and Haas for the weather related pole on Friday too!

After seeing Stroll edge Vettel off-track I just can't wait for Alonso/Stroll at Aston Martin next year!

No issue with CL reminding, asking or even demanding to swap places. Begging like a dormouse kinda points to the issue.
CL's fast but that's not enough and what he's missing you don't learn overnight.

Interesting race, great drive by George. Max did not do himself any favors with his ignoring team orders and has hurt his “brand”. Still waiting for Mercedes outrage that not all lapped cars were able to unlap before the green flag. Finally Warwick shows again he is incapable of not showing favoritism to British drivers and should be relieved of the ability pf being a guest steward.

I have serious mixed emotions about the open mic business. On one hand, it's intriguing listening to strategy or issues. However, Sunday's banter made F1 look like a bunch of petulant, whiners, tattle tales, and grovelers. Not a good look... at all... from the best of the best.

Agree, it's interesting to see their emotions as something happens, but on the other hand half the radio calls are cherry picked in order to create a talking point, whilst missing half the context.

    Via Autosport:

Red Bull's Sergio Perez says he regrets some of the comments he made about Max Verstappen after the world champion ignored team order at the Formula 1 Brazilian GP.

Comment on this from the gallery -

First reaction is ALWAYS the truth . Then come talks with your boss , good old DR MARKO about your contract , the team and blabla : all of the sudden they regret ! What a show , but they are not actors , and nobody believes.

Once again, he didn't have the full context.

He was told Max would let him by if he couldn't get passed Leclerc/Alonso, Max wasn't told anything like that.

Hence, he lacked full information of what played out.

    Agree
They won everything this year with a dominant car and driver.
How the hell they managed to create this mess ?
