What are you trying to connect? One must be careful tapping into power sources that you do not exceed the circuit's current capacity. Assuming you want to to connect in a device with relatively low current draw, you can use the positive side of one of the vacuum solenoid valves. This, in effect, is how the exhaust controller gets it power.

I’m trying to set up a remote on/off valve. I have the same thing on my gt3rs. On the 488, I have everything except for a power supply to the unit. I just need an AC 12v

Has anyone done a 488 Spider? Can someone confirm that this is true? Don't need a jack or Lift? Any tutorials or pics on how? Thanks in advance

Same question. On a 488, do the wheels have to be removed to remove the liner to complete the installation?

Yes, wheels have to come off for rear liner removal. You do not need to drop bumper or diffuser. I believe there were 9 screws in rear liner. Total project took me 4 hours, but I was taking my time. Could do it again in 1-1.5. Not difficult. I have a Spider, so I mounted my box at the top of the driver side wheel well. I also tapped into a nearby ground.

I did mine yesterday. You need to remove the rear wheel liners, that’s it. Very simple. Yes, you need to get it jacked up to get the wheels off.
