To the new owner, congrats on pulling the trigger with lightning fast speed, you got a great car from what I see. I sold this 19" Modular Wheel Set to the previous owner in NY and they were shipped directly to Dan at Bradan. Both Dan and the previous owner were great and easy to work with. Little did I know they were going on this rare car! The rims were cosmetically refinished to new with the the lips polished instead of machined, brand new Center Caps, BridgeStone Tires, Valve Stems and TPMS. (2014) The work was done by one of the best shops here in Houston. Let me know if you ever have any issues with the wheels, I back up what I sell and have two more 19" Modular Wheels sets available. Congrats again, and working with Dan at Bradan is as easy as it gets. Well done sir. Cheers, Mat
Well....let me tell you about the world we live in. It is full of people that do not stand by their word. After buying the car for $175K earlier today, the rug was pulled out from under me just now. I will have to say that Dan at Brandon was a stand up guy as he was caught in the middle. I would do business with Dan in a heartbeat and certainly will in the future....as for the seller/owner, I now know what his "word" is worth...absolutely nothing. Thanks Brian
That sux the big one sorry Brian. I guess now isn't the time to ask for my Countach back then. Lame humor attempt sorry.
Yes, stinks big time. CNC Motors came in (as you can see they deleted their post) and offered more even after we had a deal. CNC told owner it is for his personal collection....we will see if that is true. I even offered well over $200K AFTER we had an agreement. Countach is in great hands right now. At George Evans being gone through as we speak and I cannot wait to get it back to enjoy it. Thanks again for selling it to me so many years ago. Brian
Wow, that just sucks. I was reading this thread at work and was dialing the number to buy the car. With the quality of the work that went into it the market price is hard to determine, but an agreed to price should be an agreed to price. I'm very sorry that one of our members seemingly got hosed.
That's terrible. I'd love to know the seller/owner - just so everyone steers well clear of him in the future. I also hope the VIN (ZFFBV55A130130836) Assembly Number (47980) and this thread follow the car if/when CNC Motors sells it from their "personal collection". If for no other reason than to have potential buyers understand what kind of "deal" went on, what the price of the car was, and how underhanded some folks can be.
Had the same story before meeting Craig at Fast Cars and buying my 550. Great company. So is Mathewr. Great color combination.
