It happened when I was an early teen, in my parents home in Glasgow, Scotland, that they still own. It was in my brothers room which i was sleeping in and which i subsequently moved into. At the bottom of the bed was a chair and then the door which was slightly open with the hall light shining in. I looked down the bed and saw her straight away but was absolutely frozen with terror. Thats why i sat for what seemed like an eternity before i just went crazy. I was so scared to move in case she turned round or something happened. The lady was moving her hands exactly like she was knitting and I stayed solid for a long time. It was undoubtedly an old women as i could see her from head down to the chair and part of the legs before the bottom of the bed obscured my view. In the end i just seriously flipped out and screamed under the covers until my parents battered through the door and kept telling me it was a dream, much to my anger. I knew it was not and i was fully conscious for the last hour or so, may have been even longer but I had know way of even moving in that sort of environment. I believe it was something to do with mirroring something in the past. A chair being in that exact spot many years ago for instance and a past event now re-creating it self in our present time. I to some extent hope that I see another in my lifetime but only if it was as civilised and calm as this one. I would probably try and interact with it but that may be a bad thing, I suppose you never know really how you are going to act in these situations. The ghost i saw was amazing when i think about it. I'm sure lots of other people have seen them. I bet there are some horror stories too though. The house has little brass containers about 3 inches long nailed into the doorframes. In these are old Jewish prayers that were put there some years before, anyone know anything about these? I did end up prising one open and the old little script, well maybe i didnt read it because I couldnt understand it obviously. regards Matthew
"Ghost's normally put out a sort of electrical energy"......yeah....and they hang out on the moon which is why peope could never actually go there.
When I was in Savannah a few years ago we took the midnight haunted tour. It was a great time, meeting at a Civil War cemetery at midnight and taking a lantern-lit guided tour through the city. It lasted almost 3 hours and flew by, and some of the stories made your hair stand up. I believe in this stuff
Depends on what you want to see, and what the camera actually captured. FWIW I saw the Fchat ghost of Noah when I was visiting the FDR memorial in D.C. two weeks ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
When my dad was a kid he was sent to a military school( i think) on the isle of wight in Enlgand, well apparently the old headmaster used to be crippled and in a wheelchair with a full time nurse, there was some sort of bride and apparently she pushed him into the water and he drowned where she then stole money or so the story goes, well one night my dad was sleeping in the bunks and could feel something or someone screwing around with him(touching his face or something like that) and my dad eventually woke up and yelled piss off and tried to slap the person who was bothering him in the face only to have his hand go RIGHT THROUGH this things face!!! my dad does NOT lie and i have no reason to not believe him...also apparently people would see the ghost of the old man in the wheelchair on the bridge....
its cool dude.. i was wiki it. .and the symptoms are not the same.. one's body is paralysed.. but they are awake.. but cant move... and they feel something pressing on their chest and neck area.!!!
back in the old days, they use to attribute some of it to an incubus or a sucubus, a demon that rapes/strangle/sits on your chest while you're asleep.
Yes, sorry. I was saying that your friend's condition sounded like sleep apnea but was corrected in that it sounds like sleep paralysis
just like the greek mythology attributed half of all bastard babies to gods, the supersition in the middle ages attributed weird crap at night to demons. That or they were sexually frustrated, and just had a wet dream and then blamed it on a ghost
I have proof positive that Ghosts do exist! Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to divulge to others the evidence that supports my claim. I was watching 'Ghostbusters' again, and that's when I came to the realization that the movie was a real life documentary! That's all I can say without upsetting the spirits.............
