must be something to the translator!
that there is a diagram of the design of the part that you sell!
what is questioned is q your provider might have a better price!
is a project where he spends something around U $ 5
where you is not logical to blame the amount charged by the manufacturer!

Technically its exactly the same. The numbers on the relays are not so important for the correct working of the circuit.
After 20 years being automotive technical teacher with electronics as speciality I must admit I didn't test. But I'm sure it works.

Tried Full's window modification schematic and it works beautifully. No more slow passenger window!!

Cost? 2 old automotive relays, an easily etched circuit board, and some wire.

    Thanks Full.

Hi PAP, If you want a pair of these window relay units I have a set that came from Rambica which I bought for my 355 but they only work on 348 and earlier. Drop us an email on [email protected] if your interested in them. JOW2121

    LOL! Mike, I think it's a 348 thing. 355 owners probably wouldn't understand... :p

Hi All, I came up with this idea back in 2005 when I fixed my own 348. I made a few modules or boosters and advertised here on Fchat. Shortly I was approached by Ricambia to supply to them after Daniel had tested one on his car. It was talked about on here years ago about what was inside my box and the main point here is not the value of the parts inside but more to the fact that not everyone has the skills to make them, nor have the time to. Many people want a product that they can install in a Saturday afternoon without the trouble of booking into a garage and pay $$ for a solution that in many cases doesn’t satisfy. I am happy that people are making their own as it’s fun to tinker, that’s all good. Remember after I have spent 1.5hrs of time assembling them, function and load testing, cost of materials, shipping to Daniel then Daniels costs to make it worth wile for him, that’s where the cost of $85 USD comes from. I am very proud to have helped many Ferrari owners out over the years. It’s easy to pull apart some ones ideas after they have been thought up. For handy people its DIY and for others, they may choose to buy my product. Frazer Smith

How long did it take to get them after you ordered? I ordered mine back on the 7th of March and they are still not here.

Hi Mike, I am really sorry for this, normally it takes 7 days and at worst 10. I have sent you out another set as you requested me to yesterday. I appreciate you are in a rush to get your car back together so if you like I will ask Daniel nicely and see if he is happy to send you a third from within the states. His will still reach you before my second, Let me know. When the second and hopefully 1st arrive, I will send you the postage cost to return them, again I am really sorry about this. Frazer

I don't doubt it Frazer. Just wanted to see if anyone else had an issue with the post office from England to the US. For all I know they are stuck in customs. I'll wait for the second set you sent. If I do not get those in a week or two I will call Daniel at Ricambi.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I had a slow passenger window which finally stopped all together. So last weekend I stripped off the door panels for an inspection. I verified it wasn’t the motor by hooking up the battery charger and running the window up and down. So I went to the connector on the door expecting to see a mess, but it looked good. So I removed the switch and measured the resistance and it was about 50 ohms. I opened up both passenger side switches cleaned the contacts, re-installed the switches, and the window now works fine. The grease on the rails had also deteriorated to paste, so I re-lubricated the rails which also improved the speed.

After all those years I again did use this trick to speed up my 308 windows, and it worked for me.
(I also fixed the electrical antenna with two relays).

I know this is really reviving an old thread, but I've assembled the relays as explained by Full (your link was no longer available) I'm just looking for clarification on where to connect them. Most of the pictures I've seen showed green and blue wires to "T" into?
