004S Crash Test Video Is Painful To Watch https://www.motor1.com/news/507545/glickenhaus-004s-crash-test-detail/ .
Glickenhaus encouraged by LMH (007) car’s reliability in 30-hour test as WEC debut looms… https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/30-hour-aragon-test-very-encouraging-for-glickenhaus-reliability/ .
The race was a mess. I believe 15 hr overnight red flag due to rain and fog. http://www.speedhunters.com/2021/06/manthey-racing-wins-the-2021-nurburgring-24h-race/ .
Ive seen this video, but cant find the class wins and where Glickenhaus placed, but thankyou very much!
SCG 704 finished P20 overall, 2nd in Class (only 2 in class) https://www.24h-rennen.de/en/results/ >>> https://www.24h-rennen.de/wp-content//uploads/ergebnisse/2021-ADAC-TOTAL-24h-Rennen/23_24h_Rennen_Result_Official.pdf .
Glickenhaus as a wholehas crashed in a high percentage of their races- I have to think that's a byproduct of not racing regularly.
Percentages don’t tell the whole story as they’ve had a limited number of racing cars so it’s only rational that it would equate to a higher percentage of crashed on average. Think of it this way (only an example): Ferrari races 20 cars in different classes and 2 of them crash (2/20) that’s only 10% SCG races 4 cars and crashes 2, that’s 50%. not a serious crash. and how many drivers were assigned to 1 car for the N24? was it 4? never mind RACING in the R A I N ! (odds go up) .

SCG #709 Ryan Briscoe contact/crash. Whose fault? hard to tell, but, avoidable for sure. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1190460594803458 SCG: "Congratulations to @tgreurope (Toyota Group Racing) for a 1-2 finish #8hportimao As for us, we crashed once, touched once, and accidentally burned through and changed one clutch, and still finished our first @fiawec_official #glickenhaus .
that’s....not how statistics work. By that logic Ferrari has a substantially higher % of potential crashes. also this weekend- another race, and two crashes. All caused by their drivers (as shown by the penalty).
Barring something on the car breaking, Briscoe was at fault, it's very clear. Funny because he's a veteran, that was a rookie mistake. Good to see them finish, but the road to competitiveness looks long, which isn't surprising even though I was rooting for them to put up a competitive showing. Will be better once they have 2 cars on the grid.
