    The Coast Guard festival is in Grand Haven from July 30th - August 8 and is a blast. It would be a good time to take the ferry to Muskegon as then you would only be 10 miles from Grand Haven. In fact, for you single guys, this festival was voted one of the top 10 festivals in the U.S. to get laid (I think Maxim put this out).
