Attached is a selection of Ferraris competing and present at the 2008 Goodwood Revival. It certainly lived up to its tag of Glorious Goodwood. Highlights for me were the Breadvan, Bamfords green & yellow liveried 250 GTO and the Maranello Sales reproduction. Enjoy. Let's see what I can 'digitalize' tomorrow...... Very nice the green GTO! Pics will follow next week.
totally disagree with comments about the breadvan, i was sceptic about its beauty before i saw it in person. now that i have however i have to say that it was one of the more beautiful cars at the revival. ancd it was blisteringly quick also
character she has! Nose was corrected to exact LM62 shape with help of modern techniques. Alegretti did not have those and was also not able to correct it with the old photos in the 80s. Very nice car!

The nose is now correct: it has had four: the original, a second one, very poor, done after a 1970's collision at Brands Hatch, a much better one, albeit not quite right, done for Monte Shalett in Modena in the mid late 80's and finally the current nose, spot on, done by Hietbrink. Regarding the line up in post 14 I will have the one on the left thank you! Best regards, Marc

Nice photos... The Breadwan is really a Special Ferrari. Hope that nobody has the (bad) idea to put a replica SWB body on it in the future. I would be very interested to know the history of this one... No one has survived after 1957, so what is that? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have a read here for a bit more info... http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/magazine/3200.asp?id=12842 "Anthony Bamford and I agreed that the cars would be built in Turin and then shipped to England where Jim Stokes would rebuild the engines and transaxles and prepare the cars to be race worthy" Paul
Yes, I saw this article some months ago. Thank you very much. So this car is one of 4 recreations. Nice to see such resurections, after all of them were dismantled by the factory in the 50's.
Great Pictures - wish I was there Also great to see Max Balchowsy's Ol' Yaller back again - gotta like the whitewalls. It is as distinctive and historic as the breadvan. lt looks a bit dinged up, is that leftover from the shunt at Goodwood a few years back? Or is it running vintage events and acquired new ones. Cheers Warren
Unfortunately Jochen Mass rolled the Lancia Ferrari D50 today fortunately without serious injury to him and from the looks of thinks the car. Happened right in front of me looked like he entered the chincane far to quickly and just lost it. The TT was fantastic and congratulations to Peter Hardman and Bobby Verdon-Roe for finally bring a Ferrari victory in this event (in the 330LMB).
