Got back from France this morning with my Ferrari (boy does that sound weird!). Firstly i'd like to say a big thanks to Abby from Verdi who flew out with me to check out the car. Not just a great guy but a real expert who saved me a packet in negotiations. Thanks Abby. The car is great, and the body and interior are in excellant condition. I'll post better pics soon, but the ones below are at the airport in Tours (where we were met by the dealer). Some work needs to be done such as cambelts etc, but that was expected. Other things like a bloody dodgy starter motor was not expected! But nothing to worry about. The car drove sweet, but i didnt really push it. Got to about 110mph. It was the first time i have ever driven a ferrari. In fact it was the first time i have ever been in one driving (believe it or not). Previously had many opportunites but I always promised myself I would wait until the car was mine. Besides Abby had checked it out so I knew the car was OK. Also took it slow because I didnt want to tempt the cambelts! Anyway back home and very tired. But very happy. Finally thanks to all the guys on the site who have helped and advised me along the way. Been a great help.
