I think it is a color that you either love or hate. Some people think it is analogous to a car with unfinished primer. Personally, it is my favorite color. I think it will look stunning in the 296 with dark wheels, and also it is supposedly a free color option for the 296.
Free color option is correct - I figure most folks have ponied up 12k for this color option so its a deal on the 296 plus the car has many classic lines and this is a classic style historic color. I think it should look good on the 296 spider maybe with Tortora leather interior which has a warm grey tone to it
I am going to spec my 296 GTS in a lighter grey--I love alluminio lucido but I don't think it makes sense to pay for a triple layer paint for this car. Went with TDF Blue for my 812 GTS.
Grigio Scuro is a free option on the 396 All other greys will cost 12k or more I'm still gonna spend 50-60k in options It's just that I want more tangible stuff for my money
I'd like to get body color painted wheels they should match up well with yellow calipers - The pic below appears to have body color wheels Image Unavailable, Please Login
Or if you want to be a serious badass, Silverstone Lucido: Image Unavailable, Please Login You could replicate this look with a satin or matte PPF over the regular silverstone paint, for more protection.
I was told that Grigio Medio is now no cost on 296, but I am not certain the Historical Color Grigio Scuro has been made free for 296.
My dealer told me Grigio Scuro was free on the 296 which is listed as a choice on the 296 GTB configurator but Grigio Medio is no where to be found on the configurator so I highly doubt its available for free
Silverstone has been a free color up until now its 12k for me its not worth it I prefer grigio titanio anyways
The Configurator is not accurate. Example: Metallic colors are listed as "standard". They are all now extra cost...
The website configurator and the dealer configurator are different for some reason. Not like Porsche which seemed to be the exact same system just different login format.
