As I have gone through many thread, more and more FChat members prefer the continuity curve line of the GTB than the GTS. Especially, the 308, Dino is such class with the GTB where the GTS represent more of a fun look, imo.

However,It is obvious that the GTS worth more by any book standard price. Will this ever change? Has any GTS or targa or half open style eventually turn around and are demanded less than the GTB?...

i flipped a t top camaro in my youth. i do not like open top cars at all. my 77 GTB drives and "feels" different from my old 78GTS and my friends 79GTS. i really prefer the GTB. the narrow door sills, roof over your head and clean lines make driving a better experience to me. i dislaike the way open top cars creak and rattle, from Ferrari's to GM cars , give me a hard top.

B's all the way, no matter the model, 3X8, 355 360 you know what i mean,

and how often can you really have the top off, I live in Perth Australia we have 340 days of beautiful sunsine and moderate weather, however i would say that i go topless in my car all of 2 or 3 times a year.

GTB for sure. It looks better IMO, at least on the 308/328 series. GTS models were in higher demand at that time, just look at the production numbers. After Ferrari began production on "true" Spiders (355) the demand for Targa topped cars was on it's way back.

GTB would be my choice. It can't possibly leak as much as a Ferrari targa in the rain.

At least when us targa-top drivers crash into a river, the car will sink quickly.

GTS. I like the option of having the top off, and I think the car still retains the general lines of the GTB. I do not prefer the spider in most cases because they look worse with the top up (and in most cases with the top down).

Derfinitely a GTS. Especially on the 3x8's. I am obviously in the minority, but I love the looks of the black roof and the black louvers on the side windows.
Also, most Ferrari owners primarily drive their cars on nice warm sunny days. (personally, I drive mine every day) And I can't think of anything better than an open roof on a nice day.

I prefer the looks of the GTB. but the open top is important to me. I've always loved open cars.

So, I followed the lead of others on here, and created a GTS that looks more like a GTB

    "S"

I like having options. Using a hacksaw is not one of them

B *may* look better - but once you're driving an S on a sunny day it doesn't matter at all - *S* all the way.

Both have their advantages. The B is a cleaner design, will be slightly more rigid BUT the S preserves the basic shape of the B, provides open top fun and most importantly for tall people are much easier to get in and out of as long as the top is off. I always go topless. Not that I really care, I bought my car to drive - not as an investment but historically open tops are worth more than closed.

Not with the 3X8 series. They made far fewer "b" which are worth a lot more then the "s"

My first choice would be the GTS, but they do have their drawbacks as well...

    1. Seems like ALL targa's leak to some extent.
    2. Stability of car on bumpy roads is not great.
    3. Sunburn on us balding guys.... LOL

I like having the option of the targa, but if I were to buy another 328, I would be very tempted to try for a GTB this time around....

The extra body color on the B or a painted-roof/A-pillar S really gives a more beautiful look to the coachwork IMO. On the stock S they went with too much black -- like on the A-pillars (but probably had to politically; otherwise, the "new" model isn't different enough -- crazy).
