Looks good even with the stock quarter louvers. Of course the 328 louvers are all black which looks better than the 308s which have the silver highlight on each one.

    John Sanders,
I am in Colorado, still like a B.

Painted tops help on the 308-328 GTS, but it still doesn't mesh with the top of the windshield. Also, there is no B pillar on the B's.

    From FORZA's 328 buyers guide 2/99:
Brandon Lawrence "The GTB is the best by far"
Tom Shaughnessy "The GTS is a hairdresser's car; the coupe is better looking, and chosen by the purist".

    Don't flame me, I'm just a messenger.

All the painted GTS tops are cool.

I think there is a big diff in engine sound with the top off. My fave. No radio!

I like the looks over the GTS, and the drive as everyone says is much tighter.

Many classic cars magazine's price guide rate the price of the 308 GTS about 2,000 to 3,000 GBP over the GTB and over 10,000 GBP in case of the Dino. Is it possible that the general market prefer the GTS but GTB is obviously a favour among Ferrarist. Either the S or B, both have totally different characters...

But that's not to say that driving open top is no fun. I have two convertibles myself. And I don't live in a great air-con weather country, I still drive topless just for the fun of it, to hell with smog, I go convertible. Can't imagine cruising in a convertible along, say Pacific coast highway California at sunset in spring....... you know what I mean ha, Hank.

More (here) seems to prefer the GTB but the irony is... in the US, the GTS is considered more "desirable." Hence it commands a little more premium than the GTB even though the latter is rarer.

I do not think I would fit in a GTB.

That said I love open air cruising in my 328, which is kind of ironic, since I generally dislike convertibles with a few notable exceptions.

Does the GTB have more head room than the GTS with it's top on

    GTS all the way!!!

Drove mine the day before yesterday for 4 1/2 hours thru the Indiana countryside with the top off. Hot and sunny (mid 80s). Got burnt to a cinder, face looks like a freshly boiled lobster......and I wouldn't have it any other way!!!

I found hte GTB's had an extra inch or so of head-room than a GTS with the roof-on, which mattered. I prefer the lines and simpler weather/body-structure with the GTB's. But also prefer a full spider over both - might as well go for the full meal deal.

Ferraris are made for driving and shall be driven in such a way that Enzo dont get disappointed in his heaven. Bs are better for that purpose.

I much prefer the option of "topless" driving on fine days, but do admit that the GTB looks better. I love what Tillman did to his 328 GTS and would do it to mine, except I want to show it. Maybe sometime in the future I'll buy a second modified top and side louvres for every day and keep the originals for showing.

That's what I did... actually, my next door neighbor totalled his 308QV and I got the targa and side louvers (and a few other misc parts) before his went to auction so I could keep my originals also.

I like driving with the top down so it's GTS for me by a very thin margin.

I DO NOT like the chassis flex with the GTS so my next 308 if there is a next one will be a GTB. The car does not feel claustrophobic in the least to me.

I prefer the look of the GTB, but I like the option of driving with the top off. Especially a night time run down to the beach on back roads with the top off. Nothing beats it.
