    Who out there gets gung-ho into a new hobby, sport, etc. and does it for 8 months to a year and loses total interest? I went balls out into karting, bought three karts. I'm thinking about quads now. I still fly RC planes about once a month, but a couple of years ago, I went about six months doing nothing but building and flying them. How about you?

    I think this is normal - although many people don't plunk too much into it. I discussed this is my Rossa "obsessive personality" thread.

    Better to try and get decent skill in many things, than never try any hobbies or interests, IMO.

    It happens, but sometimes it doesn't last as long as 8 months. But then again, I don't buy 3 karts for it. I might have a handful of basses and guitars, but I've been playing for more than half of my lifetime.

    Time to unload a kart or two Peter?

    NO WAY! I'm so impressed with the surgery, I may go in for a few extra inches!!!..WOW..What would having 5 inches feel like?
