Has anyone ever tried a different cam in a Ferrari?

    Replaced Kjet on 3.2 with 40DCNF webers: added about 20 hp on dyno and very much improved throttle response and reliability (and sound). About $3K - $4K.

    Cams being reground by either Elgin or Webcam - about $1200-$1500 a set for intakes; exhausts similar; Am just doing the intakes right now - expect about 20 or so more hp for total of 300+ at flywheel.

    I sure hear you on the improved throttle response with carbs, that alone is reason enough. But I'm just wondering if someone here's gonna say going to carbs is a "step backwards". That more future improvements are available sticking with an injection system.(?) I imagine drivability is better with injection.
