My yellow F8 gets beat all the time by red ones. Lol. (One day our cars will meet since we are both local).
In the land of speed cameras everywhere and cops following you if they see you its hard to go over the speed limit without getting caught. So my fun with my 488GTB is to play with the gears 2 - 3 and listen to the permanently opened valves. Absolutely love the sound. When I took the F8 for a drive , several actually, NEVER did I feel the joy of the 488GTB. Sure its a bit faster but frankly dont care. It sounded awful. A choice would be the Pista since down here they are nearly the same price. Pista all the way but is it worth double the price ? IMO nope
Many have priorities when it comes to purchasing a super car. For some, sound is a prerequisite and consequently, if it fails to comport to one’s demands, they will be unsatisfied. Others injecting their specific predilections into the conversation and simultaneously minimizing another’s, serves no purpose.
Get it. Drive it. Enjoy it. It the sound isn't there, throw an exhaust on it. Stop worrying. My 488 is an absolute animal with exhaust and tune.
After consulting with my friend about your friends red interior making their car faster, we both agree that red interiors do make the car faster Image Unavailable, Please Login

Light color interiors enhance the speed of the car as it absorbs less heat from the sun. Highly precise verified testing found that dark interiors can be up to .00001 second slower in the 1/4 mile. This phenomena also applies to the color garments of the driver and passenger. If absolute speed is desired, driving naked will yield the optimum result.
Buy it. Drive it. If you don’t like it, sell it. If you like it, keep it. First world mental gymnastics. We are here to support you as you navigate this arduous journey.
Light colored interior and no clothes can lead to unwanted skid marks and I’m not talking about the road!
Update from my original reason for starting this thread…. After a week of ownership, I LOVE the sound! Thank God— it’s not very loud but it has that Ferrari formula one, High tech smooth sound I like…. I also have an AMG GTc Roadster so if I want crackling and popping, I have plenty of that…. Honestly, I never really liked the gurgling, popping and crackling- the smooth Ferrari sound is so much better for me…. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
