This just started occuring today and I've been doing nothing different than usual. 1999 360 Modena. No problems ever except this today... Whenever I press the button on my key fob (the keychain remote) the doors will both lock, the alarm will chirp once (like normal), then instantly unlock again. When I try locking them from the inside, the lock will go down, then instantly pop back up again. If I open the door after trying to lock it, the alarm will go off. I noticed that the passenger side lock does not pop up like it used to prior to today, it remains in the down position whether or not the doors are locked. Does anyone have experience in this area or is this more of a dealer fix? As of now I can't even park it anywhere except my garage because the doors wont lock. I would greatly appreciate replies.
