Hi guys looking at ex challenge race cars at the moment and have no idea what value these should be at. I can't see there being a massive demand for used 360 race cars as many will have had damage, raced, cage and race seats etc. Have seen one at 62k in good condition but i was expecting to pay around the 50-55k area?

Any help with this will be very useful.
    regards

There are two in Europe on www.mobile.de - EUR 120 000 & 102 000 - both make just over £ 60 look ok - I'm sure some of the other UK cars could be for sale - try Damax Reeder & the scottish team perhaps

there is one advertised on Autotrader. Its been unsold for 6 MONTHS !!! I think you can push hard on price when buying one of these. Very few buyers around I reckon....

355 Challenge seems to be a different matter however, but I guess you are talking 20K cheaper.

Have been thinking about challenge car aswell. Drove one at Estoril last week and thought it was superb. Much more exciting to drive than a GT3 cup and I think a bit quicker. Be careful not to buy a car needing work, best go for rebuilt engine etc than have to get work done after purchase. Foskers one looks good value, other one I found was
    www.classic-sportscar.co.uk/Cars/Ferrari360Challenge
    Looked good race proven record.

    Good luck

The mileage/km on these cars is not recorded so its important to know what your looking at and testing.

I guess i need to find out what the tell tale signs of impending problems are for the gear box, engine and clutch.

I had a Motorsport elise and the ECU logged all the data, engine time, MAX RPM and duration etc etc, I wonder if the same goes for the 360 challenges
