    Both me and my local mechanic are scratching our heads with how to fix this. You can't just remove the bulb and get in there because there is some sort of lens in the way. Anyone seen this and is there a solution that is reasonably priced? Thanks.

    Unfortunately you may be in for a replacement. You're tech would be taking quite a risk opening that light and trying to repair it. I personally would never attempt to fix that. I would just tell the customer to bite the bullet and replace the unit. Too much liability for the shop to take on.
