http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10076&item=2456524313 Can I have it gold plated and hang it around my neck and impress everybody? Do you have to send it out for re-threading every 15,000 miles? I'll take a dozen for my old 12 bolt Chevy posi-trak rear end. Ugg,.....cancel that order because I'm sure it's metric. Call me crazy, but I wouldn't give over $879 for that bolt.
Actually it is pretty rare, they only used these back in the late '40's when Ferrari first started to make cars. Many have been replaced over the years by standard bolts and have either been lost/thrown out or kept as treasured knick-knacks. Apparently this falls into the latter catagory and understandably worth a fair bit... But granted, $1K is out of the question.
Guys, have a look at the 355 suspension bolts for the lower control arms, same thing. Ferrari likes to use these bolts on suspention pecies. The 456,550 have them aswell. Next time one is in for service i'll snap a pic. Tom
