HK Exotics spotting

G'day all,as a part-time visitor(my partner,Kerrari lives in HK)I am asking on her behalf if there is a streaming channel(or any other way of watching from the comfort of her place)for the F1 races?

Much as we Aussies like to sledge Kiwis (New Zealanders) they are serious mororheads. For an introduction, google "Trio at the Top" (Bruce Mclaren Denny Hulme and Enzo"s favourite, Chris Amon) and "World's Fastest Indian" (Bert Munroe); plus they assembled Fiat 500s in the 60s (where they originated the term Bambina) so I salute them! How many recognise today's Mclaren logo as a stylised kiwi?

 

I will be back down there next weekend. I am there on business beforehand but the Ferrari Owners Club of New Zealand are having a fun day at Pukekoe racetrack just south of Auckland and will be taking kids for rides around the track. Indeed Chris Amon is a regular attendee at the FOC so he may be there.

Sorry I only just caught up with this thread - thanks for posting! I was interior designer on a Waikato project where the owners proposed a sports bar. I thought great! F1 and honour the local hero, I had the design all ready in my head, but of course no one else was interested and the ended up with... yet another rugby bar. Ho hum...

 

If the owner of the lovely 328GTS who drove up Smithfield early this afternoon wondered who the crazy gweilo lady grinning at his car was - hello!

I would be interested to know the cause. The only time mine has stalled on me on the highway was when the clutch position sensor had an intermittent fault.
When standing still, the engine thought the clutch was engaged, which was not possible and so killed the engine.
Only way to get started was after turning off the battery kill switch and back on again to reset the fault alarm.
Easy to identify at IMSS with the computer.
However, they had to drop the gearbox to get into bell-housing to replace the sensor.
Been fine ever since.

Wonder if same happened here? I beleive the clutch position sensor has been a problem for the 575 and F1 'box in the past, with factory upgrades being made at some point.
