    I have very good friends on FChat that spoke up for me. It is always good to have a prison mouthpiece when you are inside. I am always on double secret probation. If you don't make the tires squeal, you aren't pushing hard enough.:D


    I just used "squeal" "hard" and "pushing" in a sentence. Show me what you can do with that.;)

    It's obviously taking me a while to get used to being on holiday, as I'm bored enough to put up this great post from the 348/355 section about how excellent the 355F1 transmission is, and how only a highly skilled driver can appreciate it and drive it properly...

    Ok so this article opens up an interesting question. Who brakes with their left foot ? I was always taught to use my right foot....You can always spot the left foot brakers as their brake lights are continuously on at forward speed because their left foot is resting on the brakes...A mechanics dream....

    you left foot brake on a circuit Gary, entering a corner you want to be "trail braking"until the apex, while your right foot is applying just enough throttle to manage a power slide. It takes a lot of practice, but flappy paddles make it so any fool can do it. All the F1 guys left foot brake as a rule.

    Seldom (if ever) needed in a road car, because you have power brakes so heel&toeing with your right foot gives you enough braking pressure.

    With a proper transmission (dual clutch) I often drive braking with my left foot.

    You are doing it wrong if you are resting your foot on the brake pedal.

    After being a tow truck owner driver for years I always left foot brake in a two pedal car. Too many driver's right foot slips off the brake and hits the loud pedal.
