Inherited from my dad - but I was around for 98% with BMBINA - she is a family member. He bought in 1976 - 1st owner only had it for less than a year. Coming up on 46 years!
Funny thing, Even as an Australian /Euro car the mirror placement is in the same placement as US versions with flags.
Hi love seeing everyone's cars, some of you have owned them for a long time! Here is my beloved 84 308 GTS QV # 51665 in metallic black over tan. This May will be my 21st anniversary with the car. Its part of the family! We LOVE the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Correct, all Aussie 89 cars had the ABS convex alloy's fitted but none (there is a rumour one bound for Asia stayed on the ship to Australia) has ABS actually fitted. Proof... no ABS warning light on the dashboard.
Purchased December 2017 with 16,500 miles. Got Platinum August 2018. Included 1979 photo from original owner. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was there! Beautiful car. … we still need to talk thermocouples. (Your 9v battery trick didn’t work.)
Bon Jour Bertrand. This is build # 68487. Now has almost 70,000 miles on the clock. The car was originally purchased in Georgia on 06 February, 1987. The original owner had it about 15 years and then the car was purchased and shipped to the Denver CO. area. Then it was sold to an F-Chatter named T. Dogg who was a great guy from Boise Idaho. I bought the car from him and received it April 2010. I have records of every dime spent on the car. It was maintained for me by the late Terry Meeler, and she is solid as a rock.
