We have ASDA in the United Kingdom, which were just a big supermarkets but have recently been bought out and become part of the "WalMart Family". Hence, they now stock clothing ranges and have become a bit like WalMarts, but with each store approximately a quarter of the size of a US store.

My younger sister lives in Washington DC with her fiancé and my parents retired in Huntsville, Alabama (where my Dad used to do business and my sister and I were both born). So the other half has been in plenty of Wal Marts during Stateside visits - primarily when we too were buying ammunition. We quite like going to shooting ranges and enjoy little shooting matches between ourselves, but ammunition is always very expensive at the range. I wish guns were legalised over here, we look on range activities a bit like going bowling, but louder... and you certainly don't want to accidentally throw the ball behind you. We had several lessons and we're now both NRA certified - I passed as an "expert marksman" with a semi-automatic (9mm Glock 17). Although, my Dad comically questions about where the 'wisdom' is in teaching my future wife how to shoot straight! :D

I appear to have digressed... oops? Anyway, yes... back on track... given my fiancée's proficiency with firearms, I think I might forgo showing her that picture after all.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I tend to believe that most of those people are simply out for attention.

Possibly but you could certainly pick a more upscale venue to show off.

I have been to Walmart twice since i moved to the US and have never seen anything like in that website.

I did find amazing deals on DVDs and ended up buying 60 movies at once for around $250 ( Even some great documentaries about WW2, Las Vegas and the mob, Vietnam war..).

I bet more oil flows across the parking lots of Wal-Mart than half of the oil wells in Texas.
