    How do you remove the pins from the door wiring harness connector on a 348.
    does anyone have a video showing this?

    See post 25 of that thread. To use the tool, you insert the tool from the front of the connector until it seats, then push the plunger down to get the pin out of the connector body.

    It's a tube with a plunger inside. the tube slips around the pin you're trying to remove, then you push the plunger, and the pin pops out.

    On the left is the pin inside the connector. The pin has small elastic clips on the outside which hold it in position (prevent the pin from being pushed back). On the right is the tool: the tube is pushed over the pin until it goes over the elastic clips and closes them like an umbrella. Then, the pin can be pushed back out with the plunger (black). If the pin still refuses to move back, pull the tube of the tool a bit out, push on the pin wire inwards and hold while pushing the tool tube firmly back in.
